- I'm an Air Force veteran, as is my husband. We loved living in the Southwest and hope to get back there one day. I'm a therapy dog handler, and Girl Scout troop leader. I'm a former equestrian, and I'd love to get back into it. Maybe this will happen sooner rather than later. I'm a bibliophile. I mostly enjoy Tony Hillerman's novels which are based in the Southwest where I loved living, Clive Cussler adventures, James Patterson's "Alex Cross" series, and Nelson DeMille. I also love Sara Paretsky's VI Warshawski series, I'm also a graduate student currently on an unintended hiatus; I've been studying English and Native American Studies at the University of Iowa.

I didn't know you were doing examiner as well.
You sure have been having some crazy weather there! And I love the R2D2 building. Looks JUST like him!
Just started the examiner stuff last week (so I'm really new at it).
Yeah, the weather is crazy, but it's "normal" for an Iowan spring, I guess.
Hahaha! Every time we're visiting my parents and we drive past that building, Livie tells me, "There's R2D2's head!"
