A summer storm hovering over the mountains (the Sacramento Mountain range near Alamogordo, NM), as seen from our back yard, not long after we moved into our beautiful house in Alamogordo, NM. This is when we were stationed at Holloman AFB, NM, which is located in between White Sands National Monument, and the town of Alamogordo, NM.

This is a winter photo of the same mountain range (the Sacramento Mountain Range near Alamogordo, NM). This was December 30, 2006, after we got a light dusting of snow. This was late afternoon, when the winter sun cast long shadows over the land. I love this time of day.

A few clouds over Alamogordo, NM - must've been a storm in the making.Regardless of the reason, they are very cool to look at, aren't they. Another reason I miss New Mexico, and especially our house with the view.
