Yesterday after Kindergarten, Livie was looking through photos of New Mexico with me. We found this yellow (and a little bit pink) rose photo from our back yard in Alamogordo. I'd taken the photo in the spring of 2007.
Then I showed her how we could change what it looked like on Picnik. She was impressed with all the different effect, and wanted to make her own touches. Here's what she created using the Holga-ish and sepia effects, because she wanted it to look like "one of those super old pictures":
I'm glad she has fun being an artist!

How cool that you're already teaching her how to edit pics!
I am impressed with Livie's editing! She could teach me a thing or two.
The original photo was beautiful.
Oh wow! Yay for Livie! Can I send some of my photos to her to edit? Fantastic job. :)
already a talent!
I do like that second one!
Even though I enjoy nature and the colors, I love to edit for fun. The sepia tones have always intrigued me--it kind of sends me to a far away place in another era...fun!
Grooming her to take over I see. Great shots!
That is so great that you're showing her this artistic side. This will be very special for her especially later in life.=)
