Today, Livie and I went to The Dreaming Bear's open art studio. Here are the pieces that we made:
Liv made Rudolph, complete with glittery antlers! And yes, those are dolphins. |
I went with the Christmas Tree. Liv picked out the star that I glued on the top. |
After picking which piece we'd work on, we painted them, then used a hot glue gun to glue the decorations on them. Livie had Ms. Emily help her put the glitter on the antlers; I helped her by gluing the decorations on Rudolph (because little kids shouldn't use glue guns, right?).
I figure these will be great annual holiday decorations that we can use for years to come. And the best part? They'll have a great memory attached to them, because Livie and I had such fun afternoon together in the art studio.
