This awesome old barn is in need of attention. It was on the north side of I-80 (and obviously captured "on the go" as we headed west). It's somewhere in that large, lonely area of Iowa farmland in between Coralville and Des Moines.

That's a great old barn!
a pretty place with a rough old roof.
Wonderful old barn. a great shot!
I like the shape of this one!
I know the area well. The land may be good farmland but its pretty much featureless until you get to the margins of the last glacier retreat east of Newton through Des Moines. Its even more prominent east of Tama on Highway 30 going to Cedar Rapids - those hills are called the Bohemian Alps.
Love the shape of that barn and the roof line!
That barn has been a handsome one in its younger days.
It looks very similar to the types of barns we see around here.
you are so right. wow. a little repair is needed. ha. ha!! (:

A little bit of tender love is all this great looking barn needs. Glad you are home safely!

Great capture!
A lovely shot of the old, grayed barn!
That's a great shot for a drive by. It's amazing how many barns I see while flying down the interstates! Thanks for dropping by at mine.
A drive-by bokeh--now that's a new photographer's trick! And what a lot of character in this old place.
I really like this old rustic barn and the shape of it! Thanks for your comment on my barn!
That is a great old barn....and sometimes we just have to shoot when we can. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comments.
It's a beauty & I love the shape & the textured sky, too! Great find, Sonya
